Golden Years Seniors' Centre in Nundah has vacancies in their Home and Community Care Program. If you know of anyone in the community who would benefit from transport and support programs please contact Don Rudd at the centre on 3266 4500.
The Sandgate Saints Football Club are encouraging players to apply for the Brisbane Northern Districts Junior Soccer Association's Scholarship Fund. The purpose of the scholarships is to assist the participation of players in the game of football who would not normally be able to participate due to the associated costs. The Burnie Brae Centre in Chermside is excited to announce the opening of a new cafe. Cafe Connect will open from November 23rd from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12noon on Saturdays. The cafe will be in the centre at 60 Kuran Street, Chermside.

Brisbane Seniors Online- www.bsol.asn.au is a voluntary organisation that provide affordable computer tuition to over 50's in the Brisbane area.
The Northgate/Spring Hill & Districts Local Ambulance Committee is looking for new members. The aim of the committee is to: raise funds to assist paramedics; carry out safety programs (CPR) and liaise between the community and the Queensland Ambulance service. The committee meets on the first Monday of each month at 5.30pm at the Northgate Ambulance station, Fraser Rd, Northgate. Contact Elizabeth 3656 6091.

Nundah Community Support Group is open as a drop-in centre Mondays to Fridays 9.30am-2.45pm (expect closes at 12noon Wednesdays). The centre provides a range of social services, legal assistance and community education courses. 14 Station Street, Nundah, 3260 6820.
Computer 4 Kids is a project administered by the Rotary Club of Nundah on behalf of Rotary Clubs throughout Qld and northern NSW. The group recycle donated PCs from Corporate, Government and private donors. To date over 2000 PCs have been given to disadvantaged people.
